Spring Logger Training 2018

Date: May 03-May 04

Location: Texas Forestry Association Training Room in Lufkin

Logging contractors and foremen who desire accreditation in the Texas Pro Logger Program for the first time, or whose accreditation has lapsed.
Core training includes: Best Management Practices * Water Bars * SMZs * OSHA Safety * DOT Permits * Wildlife * Wetlands * Endangered Species * Special Sites * and more.
Cost: The cost is $120 per person for the two-day training.  There is no additional charge for members of the Texas Logging Council.  A processing fee will be implemented for non-members and certificates will not be issued until payment is received. 

This two-day training does not qualify for continuing education.

Tree Farm Inspector Training 2018

Date: May 11-May 11

Location: Texas Forestry Association Training Room

This one-day workshop is for new and/or current Tree Farm Inspectors who have let their training lapse. The workshop will address the 2015-2019 AFF Standard, the 004 form and options for submitting it. The workshop will also address findings from the 2016 Assessment. Participants must be graduate foresters. CEUs available. Click here to register.
