The TFA Mar­ket­ing Com­mit­tee is now accept­ing nom­i­na­tions for the 2024 Excel­lence in Wood Design Awards. Nom­i­na­tions are open to projects com­plet­ed in the last five years that aes­thet­i­cal­ly uti­lize wood and/​or use wood prod­ucts struc­tural­ly. There are four award cat­e­gories which include: 1) Insti­tu­tion­al; 2) Com­mer­cial; 3) Res­i­den­tial; & 4) Spe­cial Projects. To sub­mit a project for this award please com­plete the appli­ca­tion, include a cov­er let­ter with a brief descrip­tion of the project, a descrip­tion of the types of wood used in the con­struc­tion process, along with dig­i­tal pho­tos of the nom­i­na­tion (CD for­mat is preferred). 

Nom­i­na­tions should be sub­mit­ted to the TFA office by August 1 either by mail or email tfa@​texasforestry.​org. The award win­ners will be rec­og­nized at the TFA Annu­al Meet­ing, Octo­ber 23 – 25, 2024 in Conroe.
