 Texas Forest Landowners Council

The Texas For­est Landown­ers Coun­cil serves to improve the coop­er­a­tion and com­mu­ni­ca­tions among coun­ty for­est landown­er asso­ci­a­tions in East Texas.

The Coun­cil’s goals are to share infor­ma­tion, pro­vide train­ing, and improve the image of for­est own­er­ship. They meet every oth­er month to share local infor­ma­tion and form ideas to help Texas Forestry Asso­ci­a­tion car­ry out its goals and objectives.

The Coun­cil pro­vides a schol­ar­ship to ben­e­fit the win­ner of the State Wood­land Clin­ic Con­test each year.

Local coun­ty for­est landown­er asso­ci­a­tions also meet on a reg­u­lar basis. They pro­vide infor­ma­tive pro­grams to ben­e­fit their mem­bers.
