The Texas Forest Landowners Council serves to improve the cooperation and communications among county forest landowner associations in East Texas.
The Council’s goals are to share information, provide training, and improve the image of forest ownership. They meet every other month to share local information and form ideas to help Texas Forestry Association carry out its goals and objectives.
The Council provides a scholarship to benefit the winner of the State Woodland Clinic Contest each year.
Local county forest landowner associations also meet on a regular basis. They provide informative programs to benefit their members. To find out more about the county forest landowner association nearest you or your forest land, contact the appropriate association listed in local county associations.
