A sev­enth-gen­er­a­tion Mis­sis­sip­pi­an, Bai­ley holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in forestry from Mis­sis­sip­pi State Uni­ver­si­ty. His grad­u­ate research focused on forestry best man­age­ment prac­tices and water qual­i­ty, includ­ing the effec­tive­ness of stream­side man­age­ment zones in work­ing pine forests. He also served as Pres­i­dent of the Mis­sis­sip­pi Forestry Asso­ci­a­tion in 2023.

Jim is an adjunct pro­fes­sor at Texas A&M Uni­ver­si­ty School of Law, where he teach­es Agri­cul­tur­al Law and Nat­ur­al Resources and Emi­nent Domain Pol­i­cy. He is a rec­og­nized author­i­ty on prop­er­ty rights and nat­ur­al resources and reg­u­lar­ly speaks on legal and pol­i­cy issues affect­ing Texas landown­ers. He also serves on the boards of the Texas Land Trust Coun­cil and Devil’s Riv­er Conservancy.

A rec­og­nized leader in for­est genet­ics, Cumbie has ded­i­cat­ed his career to advanc­ing tree improve­ment and help­ing landown­ers ben­e­fit from genet­ic gains that improve pro­duc­tiv­i­ty, qual­i­ty and val­ue. He is pas­sion­ate about trans­lat­ing com­plex sci­ence into prac­ti­cal solu­tions for forestry pro­fes­sion­als. He holds advanced degrees in forestry and genet­ics, serves as Vice Pres­i­dent of the North Amer­i­can For­est Genet­ics Soci­ety and is an adjunct fac­ul­ty mem­ber at North Car­oli­na State University.

Under his lead­er­ship, ALC has expand­ed its reach to all 50 states and estab­lished a pres­ence in Wash­ing­ton, D.C. Scott is a strong advo­cate for pro­fes­sion­al log­gers and reg­u­lar­ly rep­re­sents the indus­try in nation­al media and before Con­gress. He has helped ele­vate the vis­i­bil­i­ty of log­ging and its crit­i­cal role in the Amer­i­can econ­o­my and nat­ur­al resource stewardship.

A grad­u­ate of Auburn Uni­ver­si­ty with a degree in Agri­cul­tur­al Eco­nom­ics, Stephanie is part of a fourth-gen­er­a­tion log­ging fam­i­ly from Cham­bers Coun­ty, Alaba­ma. She has been active­ly involved with the Alaba­ma Log­gers Coun­cil and Pied­mont Dis­trict Log-A-Load for Kids Foun­da­tion through­out her life and is a mem­ber of the Eco­nom­ic Devel­op­ment Asso­ci­a­tion of Alabama.

Miller is Pres­i­dent and CEO of MSG Resources, a Lufkin-based con­sult­ing firm serv­ing the media, tech­nol­o­gy and broad­cast indus­tries, and Chief Oper­a­tions Offi­cer of Broad-Comm, where he leads spec­trum man­age­ment and com­mu­ni­ca­tions work for major nation­al events and gov­ern­ment agen­cies. A lead­er­ship coach, best­selling author and entre­pre­neur, Miller spe­cial­izes in help­ing small and mid-sized busi­ness­es adapt to rapid tech­no­log­i­cal change, par­tic­u­lar­ly the prac­ti­cal adop­tion of arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence. He is also a Texas tree farmer with tim­ber in Rusk and Angeli­na counties.

An East Texas native, Mor­gan joined the Texas Water Devel­op­ment Board in 2025. She pre­vi­ous­ly served as an attor­ney with Erben & Yarbrough and held posi­tions with the Office of the Gov­er­nor, Office of the Attor­ney Gen­er­al, Rail­road Com­mis­sion of Texas and Texas Com­mis­sion on Envi­ron­men­tal Qual­i­ty. Mor­gan earned a bachelor’s degree in com­mu­ni­ca­tions and polit­i­cal sci­ence from Stephen F. Austin State Uni­ver­si­ty and a Juris Doc­tor from The Uni­ver­si­ty of Texas at Austin School of Law.

A Uni­ver­si­ty of Vir­ginia grad­u­ate, Williams is the author or co-author of 21 books and has writ­ten about busi­ness, per­for­mance and sports for pub­li­ca­tions includ­ing The Wash­ing­ton Post, The New York Times and USA Today. He and his fam­i­ly own forest­land in his native Virginia.
